Disruption is The Pathway to Growth
Presentation - Friday 15th April, 11:45 - 1:00 pm
With Clive Pedley, CFRE, and Iyanthi Wijayanayake, CFRE, Giving Architects Limited
Fundraising growth only occurs through incremental improvements or disruption. It can be difficult to imagine how to introduce effective disruption that will result in achieving a new level of fundraising success without overwhelming challenges and upset colleagues. This presentation will present a constructive approach to a path for constructive disruption that delivers growth.
This session will include New Zealand and international case studies, guidelines for considering whether disruption is the right option for growth and internal buy-in necessary to make it a success.
Major learning outcomes include:
- Understanding different options for achieving meaningful fundraising growth to choose a path of disruption or not
- Understanding a sound disruption process for your organisation that has the specific purpose of achieving growth in fundraising and greater capacity to fulfill your Mission
- References and guidelines for practical conversations with management and governance post-conference about whether a disruptive process is appropriate
