Sean Triner MFIA, MFINZ
Co-founder, Pareto Fundraising
Sean Triner is co-founder, mentor and vanguard of the international Pareto Group of companies – Pareto Fundraising (in Australia, NZ, HK, UK and North America) and Pareto Phone.
Sean has dedicated his career to developing, testing and refining fundraising strategies with some of the world’s most successful and influential charities including The National Heart Foundation, Mind UK, Red Cross Hong Kong and Amnesty International Australia and Canada. Among his the notable achievements of his early career, Sean was a pioneer of face to face fundraising, as well as the use of data-driven hyper-personalisation in direct marketing.
In 2002, Sean moved to Australia and joined forces with Australian data-expert, Paul Roberts, to form Pareto Fundraising. Their ambition was to apply what they had learned from years of pushing the boundaries in the UK to help Australia’s best charities increase their income and donor bases beyond their dreams.
Their success in achieving this goal can be measured not only in the number of major charities that quickly adopted Pareto Fundraising as their agency of choice, but more importantly, by the huge increase in revenues and supporters Pareto Fundraising’s clients have enjoyed right across the board.
Challenging, fun and always practical, Sean is an energetic speaker who leaves conference, seminar and Masterclass attendees inspired, motivated and buzzing with brilliant ideas about how to take their fundraising to the next level.
FINZ is delighted to have Sean present the State of the Nation at the Opening Plenary on Thursday 14 April in Cole Theatre.
