Go Team! Engaging Everyone In Your Organisation In Fundraising

"My board won't engage in fundraising". How many times have we heard this? This session explores ways for you to engage your Board and staff in your organisation to help them to become great ambassadors for your cause and help you to get great results. In this session you will be challenged to be brave in getting your Board over the "I give my time - that's enough" mentality and get them fully engaged in raising funds for your organisation's mission. With stories 'from the coal face' Kate will help, through role playing and real scenarios, to raise increase your ability to motivate and energise everyone in your organisation to take on the role of cheerleader.
Major learning outcomes include:
- Skills in knowing what to say and how to challenge the Board appropriately on long held beliefs.
- Strategies for motivating and encouraging service staff to get involved.
- Motivating strategies for volunteers.
