FINZ proudly presented the 2016 annual conference, the premier learning event for fundraisers and charity and community sector leaders and those doing great things for good causes.
In a rapidly changing world, we seek to understand our donors more; their attitudes toward philanthropy and what will inspire their loyalty and generosity to your cause. More than ever, if we are to engage a wider audience and capture their hearts and minds, charities need to be more relevant and fundraisers more skilled to facilitate generosity. International trends also indicate that charities are under more scrutiny than ever and looming regulations will impact on how well we can serve our community.
Building upon previous year’ successes, conference will provide delegates with new thought provoking concepts and ideas, innovative and practical content and learnings to ignite or reignite your passion for your work.
Experienced international and national speakers from charities, NGOs, education and business will engage delegates with their wisdom, experience and insights to make the Better, Stronger, Smarter Fundraising Conference a highlight of the 2016 year.
Conference is a three day event commencing with the CEO Forum and Master Classes on Wednesday 13 April, followed by the Execucare Cocktail Party Wednesday 4:30pm – 7:00pm, conference on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 April and the Gala Dinner announcing the winners of the Soar Print FINZ Fundraising Excellence Awards on Thursday 14 April.
Held at the Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre in Auckland, delegates can experience a high impact, high energy conference. But there will be time to relax as the Waipuna is set amongst 6.26 acres of parkland overlooking a picturesque saltwater lagoon and other facilities include restaurant and bar, swimming pool, spa and gymnasium. The stunning Auckland War Memorial Museum, at the Domain in Parnell, Auckland was the perfect venue for this prestigious event. Set in the Event Centre under the copper dome on the roof of Auckland Museum guests enjoy 360-degree views over Auckland, a superbly catered meal and live entertainment.
